Dear Friend of Common Grace,
We were honored! Of course, we still have a long way to go in
providing a partner church for every public elementary school in Hawaii ---
but this wonderful recognition shows that Common Grace is, well, recognized as a valued partner by our State Department of Education
This is AWESOME!
It means the schools know us; like us; trust us. And, I have to give
credit first to God Who cares about little kids, credit to my co-director, Dennis
who imported his credibility from 20 years as a State legislator, and huge
credit to the “Aunties” and “Uncles” who have bonded with a lonely child.
It means all Hawaii’s elementary schools have put out a welcome mat
for mentors trained by Common Grace. Schools are now waiting for your local
church to walk across the street and be kind to kids in your neighborhood.
