Dear Auntie, Dear Uncle. . .

We gathered church coordinators for a nice lunch @ The Old Spaghetti Factory on Sat. 3/15 and we want to share with all of you Aunties & Uncles what we talked about at our meeting.

1. Coordinators & Mentors @ each church should know one another well. If you don't know who your church coordinator is ... ask Pastor.

2. Team Meetings at least once per semester. Invite all mentors > past > present > future. Even if you don't have a kid this semester, you can still pray for and encourage those who do.

3. Take your kid to at least one special outing (picnic, ice cream, etc) before May 25 that's our Annual Mahalo Party for all mentors & kids (Kalihi Union Church . 4pm) Don't wait 'till then. Plan an event before May 25 so you can be sure you know your kid's parent/guardian, their home number and address, the permission form, etc..
