Dog Learning to Read

This amazing Labrador Retriever has learned to alert his owner when a gran-mal seizure is about to occur. Somehow Sunny is able to pick up vibrations or intuitions of an impending seizure 5 or 10 minutes before it happens. Which can be life-saving! Auntie has been warned by her dog while driving so she was able to pull over to the side of the road. She told about how Sunny was with her in the dentist office one time. She was about to get anesthetic for a root canal but Sunny reached up his paw and tapped her on her leg --- this is the signal that a seizure is coming. She postponed the surgery. Sunny saved her life.

Well, the dog always goes along to meet the Common Grace kid. I don’t want to imply that the boy likes Sunny more than Auntie, but the kid will only read out loud when he’s sitting over in the corner with Sunny. He’s a 5th grader but only reading at a 2nd grade level. He must be shy. But Sunny loves to hear Demetrius read and never corrects him.

The headline is a spoof. Sonny isn’t really learning to read but he seems to be helping Demetrius. A great example of Canine Grace!
