Buddies are current mentors who have been background checked and completed an 8-week mentorship training course. To be considered for the program, children must be referred by a school counselor or principal or meet our mentee requirements. Mentorship in this program is free and flexible and will take place whenever the child is available (we recommend about an hour or two each week as needed). Outings can be planned to abide by social distancing and other safety guidelines, which we will have for mentors to follow.
